Man found dead near playground

BALTIMORE - A man walking his dog found a body near a playground in Southwest Baltimore Wednesday night, police say.
The man called police just before 10 p.m. He said he was walking his dog in the 4300-block of Cedar Garden Road when he found the man's body. Police say the man had an apparent gunshot wound to his head.
A medical crew pronounced the man dead on the scene.
Police have not yet been able to identify the man.
An investigation is still ongoing.
