BALTIMORE - Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found shot in southwest Baltimore early Thursday evening.
According to Baltimore City Police, officers and paramedics were called to the 1400 block of North Longwood Avenue around 6:15 p.m. for a reported shooting.
When emergency crews arrived, they found a 24-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen, police said.
He was rushed by ambulance to an area hospital, but was pronounced dead by the attending physician. Police say the victim died from injuries sustained from the shooting.
The identity of the victim has not been released yet.
Detectives are urging anyone with information regarding this shooting to call 410-396-2100.
