E. Baltimore dies from gunshot wounds

BALTIMORE, Md. - Baltimore police are investigating the murder of an East Baltimore resident, whose body was found in the unit block of North Lynwood Street on Monday afternoon.

Police said the body of Anthony Keyser, 45, was found after officers responded to a report of gunfire at about 4:00 p.m. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Medical Center and was treated for gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the hospital a half-hour later.

According to police, Keyser was last seen on his backyard steps just before gunshots were heard and he was found dead.
