BALTIMORE - Personnel from the Maryland Division of Corrections are looking for a 26-year-old inmate who escaped from custody Tuesday morning in Baltimore.
William Lee Luas was being led from one corrections facility to another, when he ran away from officers on Greenmount Avenue.
Lucas is described as an african-american man about 5 foot 11inches tall and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue Department of Corrections shirt and pants.
Lucas is serving a four year sentence for robbery and drug charges. He was scheduled to be released in 2011.
Anyone who sees Lucas or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
