BALTIMORE - Two are dead and 6 others are hurt after a violent weekend in Baltimore City.
Just before 1 a.m. Sunday police were called to the 1000 block of Valley Street for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived they found a man shot in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Later, at 3:20 a.m., officers responded to northeast Baltimore for a report of a shooting. Police said a man was shot in the shin and a woman was shot in the arm in the 4400 block of Marble Hall Road. The victims told police an unknown person started shooting hitting both of them.
In an unrelated incident, a man and a juvenile walked into an area hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. The man had a bullet graze his head, while the boy was shot in the side. Both are expected to recover without complications.
Police are still investigating.
