Drug suspect runs from police

BALTIMORE (WMAR) -  

Baltimore City Police have arrested a person who lead them on a wild ride throughout the City and Baltimore County. 
 
City Police say that officer attempted to stop a suspect in a drug investigation in the 500 block of Alluvion Street at about 9:30 p.m., but the car did not stop. Police immediately launched their helicopter, Foxtrot. 
 
Instead the car drove around different parts of the City and into parts of the County and up and down I-83, pulling different jurisdictions like Baltimore County Police and Maryland State Police into the incident, but never shaking Foxtrot. 
 
Finally at about 10:45 p.m. officers were able to get the vehicle stopped on northbound I-83 at Ruxton Road. 
 
One person was taken into custody and there were no injuries reported. 
 
Charges against the driver are pending.
