Drug offender arrested after walking away from home detention

BALTIMORE, Md. - A 19-year-old drug offender, who walked away a day ago from home detention, was arrested Friday by Baltimore Police.

Keith Womack, of the 2100 block of Hollins Street, was on home detention after receiving a two-year sentence for drug possession. He was T authorized to be out of the residence from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a visit to his case manager. The case manager notified the Central Home Detention Unit that the offender never arrived for his appointment. Officers attempted to locate the offender but could not. He was deemed a walkoff at 12 p.m.
