BALTIMORE - One person is dead after a double stabbing Wednesday afternoon in West Baltimore.
According to Baltimore City Police, at 3:11 p.m. officers responded to the intersection of Belle Avenue and Garrison Boulevard for reports of a double stabbing.
When police and paramedics arrived on the scene, they found two males suffering from stab wounds.
Both victims were transported to area hospitals where the one male was pronounced dead at 3:43 p.m. after succumbing to his injuries, police said.
The other male who was stabbed was treated and released from the hospital.
Police have not released the identity of the victim.
Homicide detectives are asking for the public's assistance in this case. Anyone with information is urged to call 410-396-2100.
