BALTIMORE - Southwest detectives are asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting Friday evening.
According to Baltimore City Police, around 7:30 p.m. officers responded to the 3000 block of Arunah Avenue for a reported shooting.
Detectives and paramedics located a 17-year-old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his neck, police said.
The teen told investigators he was approached by an unknown suspect who shot him and then fled the area.
Police say the victim was transported to an area hospital.
The teen's condition was not immediately available.
