BALTIMORE - Eastern District detectives from Baltimore City Police are investigating after a man was shot Wednesday evening.
According to police, officers were called to the 700 block of North Montford Avenue for a reported shooting.
When police and medics arrived, they found a 24-year-old man who had been shot multiple times.
The victim told police he was standing in the 2400 block of East Monument Street when an unknown suspect approached him and then opened fire.
Police say the suspect then fled the scene.
The male victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
