Detectives investigate after man found shot

BALTIMORE -  

Baltimore City Police are investigating after a man was shot Thursday morning.
 
City police tell ABC2 that officers responded around 11:30 a.m. to the 1600 block of West Lafayette Avenue and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso area.
 
The victim was transported by medics to a local area hospital.  The victim's condition was not immediately known.
