BALTIMORE (WMAR) - Baltimore City Police have arrested about 12 middle school students following a large fight this afternoon.
Baltimore City School Police and Baltimore City Police responded to the area of Erdman Avenue and Belair Road shortly after two neighboring middle schools let out.
Police say the fight broke out between the students from the different schools as they waited for their buses. Medics treated some students for minor injuries.
No one was seriously hurt during the fight, and about 12 people were taken into police custody.
The Northeast District Commander has met with City School Administration in order to try and adjust dismissal schedules and further prevent this from happening again.
