BALTIMORE - Baltimore City police are investigating a pair of shootings that took place just minutes apart Tuesday night, including one in which an 18-year-old man was killed.
Officers first responded at 11:10 p.m. to the 500 block of Preston St. There, police located Darnell Moore, of the 500 block of W. Preston St., shot in the back and shoulder. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:57 p.m.
Then at 11:23 p.m., officers were patrolling Cherry Hill Rd. when they were flagged down by a resident who directed them to a man laying in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in critical but stable condition.
