BALTIMORE - Baltimore City Police say the death of a baby girl from earlier this month is a homicide.
Shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 2, medics and police responded to the 1600 block of N Broadway. There they found 5-month-old Ilzaryah Morrison unresponsive. Medics took her to a local hospital where she died.
Recently the Office of the State Medical Examiner said she died from asphyxiation and declared her death a homicide.
No charges have been filed in this case so far.
