BALTIMORE (WMAR) - Baltimore City Police are investigating the death of a Navy sailor that was shot to death last night. 

Police say they responded to the 2700 block of Marbourne Avenue just before 9:00 p.m. for reports of a discharging. 
 
Officers discovered a shooting victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds lying on the curb next to his parked car. He was taken to a local hospital where he died. 
 
The investigation has revealed that the victim was an active member of the United States Navy and was here on leave. Police say the victim was in the block visiting a relative in the area. 
 
It has been discovered that two unknown suspects exited an unknown model of a black 4-door vehicle and began shooting. 
 
The sailor was hit multiple times, and the suspects fled the area. The motive in the shooting is still unknown.
