2 dead in apparent murder-suicide

BALTIMORE, Md. - Homicide detectives are investigating a fatal double shooting in Baltimore.

According to Baltimore City Police, officers were called to the 3900 block of Frisby Street after 6 p.m. Tuesday and found one adult male and one adult female shot to death in an apparent murder-suicide.
 
A 12-year-old was found in the house uninjured.
 
The female victim has been identified as 33-year-old Candace Baird. Baird was found shot in the torso area. 
 
Investigators believe the male shot Baird before turning the weapon on himself.  The male was found suffering what is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. 

Anyone who is a victim of domestic violence is urged to call 911 or can contact the BPD Family Crimes Unit.  Detectives can be reached at 443-984-7030.
