GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WMAR) - A 41-year-old man is recovering in the hospital after his girlfriend stabbed him on Sunday, police say.
Anne Arundel County Police tell ABC2 News that they responded to the 7700 block of Oakwood Road in Glen Burnie after reports of the stabbing.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found the victim on the apartment building stairs with stab wounds to his back and a laceration to the head.
A preliminary investigation had revealed that the victim was visiting his girlfriend, 31-year-old Autumn Mary Marler of Glen Burnie, when they got into an argument.
Police explained that Marler stabbed the victim has he was packing up his belonging from her apartment.
The victim has been transported to the University of Maryland Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
