BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (WMAR) - Anne Arundel County Police are looking for a man they say forced his way into a woman's home and took her jewelry and money.
Just before 12:00 p.m., Friday, officers responded to the area of Park Road in Brooklyn Park for a report of a home invasion.
Officers spoke with the female victim who reported a man forced his way into her residence after she opened the door, displayed a handgun and restrained her.
From there, the suspect searched the home and took miscellaneous jewelry and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect fled in an unknown white vehicle, possibly a station wagon, SUV or minivan.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 20's to mid 30's, about 6'0" tall, 200 pounds, wearing a tan baseball hat, sunglasses and tan or khaki shorts.
Police believe this was possibly a targeted incident.
Anyone with any information is asked to call police.
