Woman arrested for prostitution and human trafficking compensation in Anne Arundel County

LINTHICUM, Md. - A 19-year-old woman from Sacramento, CA has been arrested in Anne Arundel County and charged with human trafficking compensation and prostitution.
Detectives from the Special Enforcement Section's Vice Unit say they were investigating an anonymous tip of a woman using hotels in the Linthicum area, to house women from California, and profit from prostitution.
The police department says detectives learned that an online ad was being used as a front for a prostitution business they believe was being operated out of a hotel room in the Linthicum area.
Tuesday night, detectives say they found 19-year-old Shkoyia Michelle Lomack, and charged her with human trafficking compensation, human trafficking take cause, prostitution business, and prostitution.
