BROOKLYN PARK, Md. - Officers with the Northern District of the Anne Arundel County Police department area looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run crash that happened on Ritchie Highway Thursday.

The crash happened at about 12:37 a.m. near the intersection of Ritchie Highway and Camrose Avenue.

A 57-year-old man was found in the northbound lane of Ritchie Highway and was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Police say preliminary evidence suggests the striking vehicle is possibly a GM product with damage to the right (passenger side) front headlamp lens area and windshield.

On Friday morning, police said a vehicle of interest has been located in Baltimore City.
