GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WMAR) - Anne Arundel County Police need your help to find the people responsible for assaulting a man and taking his wallet.
Just before 4:00 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to the 7800 block of Parke West Drive in Glen Burnie for a report of a robbery of a citizen.
Officers spoke with the 44-year-old male victim who reported that he was walking to his apartment when he was approached by three men who assaulted him and took his wallet.
The investigation revealed that the suspects pulled up to the victim in a vehicle, and asked him for a cigarette. One of the suspects suddenly lunged at the victim, who ran, but tripped and fell to the ground.
At that time, the suspects caught up with him and began kicking him. One of the suspects went into the victim's pockets and took his wallet. One of the suspects also implied that he had a weapon, but did not show one during the assault.
All three suspects fled towards Quarterfield Toad in a 1990's model beige or white Cadillac with a red top and raised area on the trunk.
The suspects were only described as three black males in their 20's about 5'8" to 5'10" tall.
