PASADENA, Md. - A man who stole a car Saturday was caught by police driving the car Sunday and arrested.
On Sunday morning around 6 a.m. an alert police officer saw a late model red Cheverolet Chevelle near Mountain Road and Freetown Road that matched the description of a car stolen from Pasadena during a burglary the day before.
The officer pulled over the vehicle and arrested Frank William Helsel, 36, for auto theft and driving on a suspended license.
The Chevelle’s owner came to the scene to recover his stolen car.
Helsel was later additionally charged with burglary.
