ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WMAR) - Police in Annapolis are looking for two people who forced their way into an apartment and stole a purse.
Police responded to the 1100 block of Madison Street just before 12:30 a.m. for the report. The preliminary information indicates the adult male and female residents answered a knock at their door and two unknown males forced their way inside the apartment.
One of the suspects hit the male resident over the head several times with a handgun while the other demanded the woman's purse. The suspects then fled the area.
The male resident was bleeding from head injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
