LINTHICUM, Md. - Officers responding to a reported burglary in Linthicum tased a suspect Wednesday after he reportedly refused arrest.
According to a report provided by the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the man was seen escaping through a basement door at the home where the burglary was reported. Officials say the man attempted to run away , violently fought with officers and was eventually subdued.
The suspect, identified as 48-year-old Timothy Ray Veasey of Montpelier Street in Baltimore was taken into custody and charged.
Officials say Veasey refused medical treatment.
