GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WMAR) - Around the same time many people were leaving work and headed to withdrawal some cash for the weekend, police say a woman robbed a bank in Glen Burnie and got away.
According to Anne Arundel County Police, a woman walked into The Bank of Glen Burnie on Crain Highway South and handed one of the tellers a note demanding money.
The woman was seen jumping into a car and taking off with an unknown amount of cash.
Police do not have much information about the car, but describe it as a four door sedan.
There were no reported injuries to workers or customers.
Detectives believe the woman is in her mid-50's, around five feet and three inches, and weighs about 130 pounds.
