PASADENA, Md. (WMAR) - Officers with the Anne Arundel County Police Department say when they got to the scene, the victim was bleeding on the porch and the suspect was washing his hands in a bathroom sink.
They were called to the Eastern District of Anne Arundel County, specifically, the 700 block of Duvall Highway at about 1 a.m. Monday in reference to a stabbing. Officers say the victim had two stab wounds in his torso.
Investigators say in addition to finding the suspect washing his hands, they found a folding knife with blood on it on the bathroom sink.
Raymond Gene Adkins was arrested and charged with attempted murder, attempted murder with a deadly weapon, first degree assault and second degree assault. The victim was transported to a local hospital.
