LAUREL, Md. (WMAR) - Police in Laurel are looking for the man responsible for robbing the Royal International Market Monday.
Officers responded to the market in the 3500 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road for a report of an armed robbery of the business that had just occurred.
Police officers were told that a lone suspect entered the market, displayed a handgun and demanded that the clerk turn over money. The clerk complied and handed over an undisclosed amount of money who fled north on foot towards Route 198.
The suspect is described as a black male with a thin build and facial hair, wearing a dark colored suit, a white shirt, a black tie and a black baseball hat.
