BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (WMAR) - A 24-year-old man is recovering after an early morning attack that led to his stabbing.
Anne Arundel County Police say they were called to the 300 block of Old Riverside Drive in Brooklyn Park around 4:20 a.m. Saturday morning.
Officers were originally responding to calls of a fight, but when they arrived on the scene it was apparent the victim was attacked.
An investigation revealed the 24-year-old, suffering from what police are calling trauma wounds, was attacked by an unknown number of people.
Detectives believe the victim was assaulted in the area of Hilltop Drive and Alley 26.
Responding officers report the man was stabbed more than once in his back.
He was rushed to Harbor Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police have not found anyone who may be linked to the attack, but describe one of the attackers as a white man with red hair.
