A man is dead, shot breaking into a business early Christmas Day.

Anne Arundel County Police say the incident happened around 6:30 Tuesday morning in the 7400 block of Baltimore Annapolis Blvd in Glen Burnie.

According to police, Byron Phillip, 30, broke into the Arundel County Coin Shop and started fighting with an employee who was there.

At some time during the fight, Phillip was shot.  He then ran out of the shop and collapsed.  Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police are not releasing the name of the employee.  The shooting is still under investigation.
