PASADENA, Md. - Anne Arundel County police are investigating to determine if two men arrested Monday morning in Pasadena are linked to a series of thefts in the area.
Police said at approximately 1:45 a.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Pleasantview Ave. for a report of a theft from auto that was in progress. The caller reported two suspects were inside his truck, which was parked on the side of his residence.
Officers reported seeing two suspects running from the yard down Ken-Mar Avenue toward Kent Road. The suspects continued to run after being told to stop by police. After a search of the area, both suspects were located and arrested in the immediate vicinity.
Police said several items of stolen property were recovered and officers canvassed the surrounding areas for additional theft from autos and shed burglaries. Detectives are working leads and it is believed that the suspects may be responsible for other incidents in the community.
Andrew Michael Kuchli, 19, and Joseph Patrick Soule, 24, both of the 1700 block of Poplar Ridge Road in Pasadena were charged with theft and related charges.
