GLEN BURNIE, Md. - Police say they arrested a man for trying to sell undercover officers a stolen e-reader.
Anne Arundel County Police say the incident happened around 8 pm on Friday in the 200 block of 6th Avenue in Glen Burnie. They say officers were on a covert detail in the area when Scott Ferris approached them to sell an e-reader.
Police figured out that Ferris stole the e-reader, arrested him and returned the item to the owner. The owner said someone stole the e-reader out of her car not long before Ferris was arested.
Police charged Ferris with theft.
