ANNAPOLIS -

A Glen Burnie man has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the shooting death of another man outside a tavern.

The Capital of Annapolis reports that 34-year-old Clayton Avila Battle entered the plea Thursday. Prosecutors say they'll ask for life with the possibility of parole at sentencing May 17.

Prosecutors say Battle shot and killed 30-year-old Kelly Fisher of Glen Burnie outside Dietrich's Tavern in Glen Burnie on Dec. 4, 2010.
