GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP) - A 19-year-old Glen Burnie man has been convicted of first-degree murder for his role in a fatal shooting at a pizza shop two years ago.

Shawn Anthony Johnson also was found guilty of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and related charges Thursday.

Police say Johnson was one of four teenagers who tried to rob Mr. Wings & Pizza in Glen Burnie, where Misael Flores was fatally shot, in November 2010.

One entered an Alford plea to second-degree murder earlier this month. A third pleaded guilty in January, and a fourth defendant is scheduled for trial in the fall.

Johnson faces life in prison without parole at his sentencing next month. Defense lawyers say they will seek a shorter sentence that allows for Johnson to enter a prison treatment program.
