ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WMAR) - Annapolis Police have arrested and charged a man after they say he set a car on fire on Sunday.
Just before 8:00 p.m. Sunday, the Annapolis Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the 1000 block of Timber Creek Drive.
The cause of the fire was determined to be incendiary in nature. Investigators developed information on a suspect and executed a search warrant for a home not far from the fire.
Investigators arrested Joseph LaScola and charged him with first and second degree malicious burning and destruction of property.
