GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WMAR) -
Anne Arundel County Police have arrested and charged a Linthicum man for his role in a stabbing.
Police responded to the 100 block of 4th Avenue in Glen Burnie at about 7:15 p.m. last night for reports of a stabbing. Once on the scene, they found the 35-year-old male victim outside the residence suffering from a stab wound to the upper body.
Witnesses told police that the suspect in the stabbing was still inside. Officers went into the house where they took Leonard Clifton Davis, 30, into custody.
The investigation has revealed that the victim and Davis were involved in a verbal altercation inside the house that resulted in the stabbing.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Davis was charged with first degree assault, second degree assault and reckless endangerment.
