GLEN BURNIE, Md. - A 27-year-old told Anne Arundel County police two males tried to rob him after he met them Saturday night to purchase an iPhone after responding to an ad on Craigslist.
According to police, officers responded at 8:21 p.m. to George Cromwell Elementary School, located at 525 Wellham Ave. in Glen Burnie, for an attempted robbery that just occurred.
The victim said he was waiting in his vehicle at the school, when he was approached by two suspects. Police said one of the victims produced a black, semi-automatic BB gun, demanded money and fired one BB into the victim's vehicle. The suspects then ran away into the wooded area behind the school. The victim was not injured and refused treatment at the scene.
Police described the first suspect as a white male, 16 to 20 years old, approximately 6-foot with a slim build, and was wearing a T-shirt, dark colored shorts. He also had an acne/pox marked face and short hair. The second suspect is described as a black male, 16 to 20 years old, approximately 5-foot-6 and 200 pounds with short hair, and was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
