Edgewater man charged with sex offenses

EDGEWATER, Md. - Anne Arundel County Police have arrested and charged John Charles Villers-Farrow with multiple sex offenses.

Reports from several media sources indicate Villers-Farrow may be the brother of actress Mia Farrow. We called Mia Farrow's manager. Her office would not confirm or deny the speculation.

Officials with the Anne Arundel County Police Department also would not speak to the potential connection between Villers-Farrow and Farrow when asked.

Neighbors have said that he is Mia Farrow's brother.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department Criminal Investigation Division Child Abuse Unit learned about the case in August.  

Two adult male victims then came forward with detailed accounts of abuse from Villers-Farrow from 2000 to 2008.  

The men say they were between the ages of 8 and 18 when the abuse occurred.

An application of charges was submitted and charges were issued on November 8.

Villers-Farrow was charged with the following:

• 2nd and 3rd degree sex offenses
• Two counts of perverted practice
• Two counts of 2nd degree child abuse
• Two counts of sex abuse of a minor

Villers-Farrow is being held on a $800,000 bond.
