Charges pending in deadly hit-and-run

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WMAR) -  

Police in Anne Arundel County say the going to charge a 45-year-old Glen Burnie man in the deadly hit-and-run crash that killed John Junior Stewart last Tuesday. 
 
Police say they located the suspects vehicle on Tuesday in the driveway of a home in the 8100 block of Lea Road in Pasadena with damage consistent with the evidence collected at the scene of the deadly crash. 
 
The vehicle was seized by police as evidence. 
 
On November 20, Stewart was crossing Mountain Road near Jumpers Hole Road when he was hit and killed by a dark colored SUV. The driver of that SUV then fled the area, leaving Stewart who died at a local hospital. 
 
About 4 hours after police found the vehicle believed to be involved in the crash, the driver, Donovan Scott Bailey, contacted police. Police interviewed Bailey and he was then released. 
 
Charges relating to the crash are pending a final review of the case by the State's Attorney's Office.
