SEVERNA PARK, Md. -
A cab driver was robbed and beaten over a payment dispute early Sunday morning police said.
Anne Arundel County police are looking for two men who assaulted and robbed the cab driver in Severna Park around 2:15 a.m. Sunday. Police said the driver picked up the men at a 7-Eleven in Gambrills and drove them to Severna Park where they argued over the payment.
The dispute turned physical and the driver was assaulted. During the assault, the victim's backpack containing a cell phone and an undisclosed amount of money were stolen. The suspects then fled the scene. Several officers and a K-9 unit canvassed the area, but were unable to find the attackers.
Police are looking are two white men in their mid-twenties.The first suspect is approximately 5'10", 165 pounds with brown hair, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. Police said the other man is approximately 5'10", 185 pounds with blond hair, also wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
