BROOKLYN PARK, Md. - Wednesday morning was a big day for law enforcement officers in the area. As warrants were served at 10 Internet cafes in Baltimore, they were also served at a similar business in Anne Arundel County.

At approximately 10 a.m., officers with the Anne Arundel County Police Department served a search warrant at an Internet cafe named Sweepstakes located on Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park. Seventy-five computers were seized along with $589 in US currency and an assortment of computer hardware.
Detectives say the computers were used to play electronic games including but not limited to slots, blackjack and poker and receive a monetary payout for points accumulated during the games. Investigators say the games were illegal.
