ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WMAR) - People who live near an Annapolis business that was broken into got an early wake-up call Friday morning.
Annapolis Police say they were called to the 1900 block of West Street just before 1:00 a.m. when a glass breakage alarm sounded.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found blood outside of the business. The blood trail led them to Parole Street where they found man suffering from severe cuts to his leg.
A stolen stereo system from the business was found near the man.
Police say the severely lacerated man was rushed to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.
Charges are pending.
