GLEN BURNIE, Md. - Investigators with the Anne Arundel County Police and FBI are searching for three unidentified male suspects following a Saturday morning bank robbery in Glen Burnie.
An Anne Arundel County Police spokesman reports that at approximately 11:19 a.m. officers responded to the Bank of America at 1716 Crain Highway in Glen Burnie for a report of a robbery in progress.
Once there, bank employees told officers that two black males wearing masks and brandishing firearms entered the bank.
The suspects then announced the robbery and ordered the occupants of the bank to the floor.
Investigators say the men removed an undetermined amount of cash and then fled from the bank, got in a red van operated by a third black male, and fled north on Crain Highway.
The red van was later found abandoned in the 200 block of Woodhill Drive in Glen Burnie.
Police say the van had been previously reported stolen from Prince George's County.
Authorities say one suspect is described as a black male in his early 20's, medium build, mask, gloves, white t-shirt and black pants.
A second suspect is described as a black male in his early 20's, dark striped hooded shirt, ball cap, gloves and dark pants.
The third suspect is told to be a black male in his mid 20's with a black t-shirt, ball cap and sunglasses.
