BROOKLYN PARK, Md. - Anne Arundel County Police has made an arrest in the homicide of Eric Hill. Hill was murdered on August 13, inside his vehicle in the 200 block of W. Edgevale Road in Brooklyn Park.

Detectives were able to determined that an acquaintance was getting into Hill's car when they were approached by three males, one of whom showed a handgun and demanded money. At that time, the car accelerated for an unknown reason and the armed male shot Hill.

Preliminary information indicated that the victim and suspects were possibly known to each other and the victim may have been targeted by the suspects in this incident.

Through the intensive investigation, Homicide Detectives were able to develop a suspect and obtain an arrest warrant.

The suspect, Marcus McFadden, is 17-years-old and was apprehended on September 2, at his home in the 100 block of Marbourne Avenue in Baltimore City.

McFadden is being charged as an adult with First Degree Murder and Armed Robbery.
