PASADENA, Md. - Police are searching for a man who robbed a BP gas station in Pasadena Tuesday night.

Officers were called to the station in the 8500-block of Fort Smallwood Road at around 8:45 p.m.

The clerk told police a man came in asking for change. The man then pulled out a handgun from his waistband and demanded money from the drawer.

The clerk handed over the money and the man ran out of the store and into a small black pickup truck. He then fled north on Fort Smallwood Road.

Police say they used Aviation units to search for the man, but they were never able to find him.

Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCKUP.
