ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Anne Arundel County Police are investigating an armed robbery at an Annapolis hotel Saturday night.
Police said around 8 p.m. officers were called to the Holiday Inn Express at 2541 Riva Road for a report of an armed robbery.
When officers arrived, witnesses said a man came into the hotel, drew a gun and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk handed over the cash and the man ran in an unknown direction.
County officers and an Annapolis City K-9 unit searched the area, but were unable to find the man.
According to police, the suspect was a black male in his 20’s or 30’s with light colored eyes, wearing a yellow baseball hat, a black Star Wars t-shirt and tan shorts.
