ANNAPOLIS, Md. - A gas station attendant in Annapolis had a terrible start to the work week this morning.

Annapolis Police say he was outside of his booth at about 5:30 a.m. in the 2200 block of Bay Ridge Avenue, when two men came up, knocked him to the ground, and took money from him.

Detective Amy Miguez says one of the men had a gun.

"They didn't get inside the booth, they simple went after the attendant when he was out of the booth. They knocked him down, he suffered some head injuries and was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center for treatment but he's already been released this morning."

If you have any information about the incident, you can call 410-280-CLUE.
