ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Annapolis Police said they are investigating three separate armed robberies that took place over the weekend.
Among the incidents was a home invasion that happened around 2 a.m. Sunday. Police said a man and woman were asleep in their home in the unit block of Victor Parkway when they were awoken by two men.
Police said one of the men pointed a handgun at the victims and demanded money. The men took money, two cell phones and a house phone before they fled. The victims drove to another location and called police. The male victim was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center, treated for injuries and released.
Another robbery was reported around 2 a.m. Saturday. A man told police two people robbed him at gunpoint in the 400 block of Hilltop Lane. Police said the victim was walking home when two suspects came up to him from behind and hit him on the head.
One suspect had a handgun and pointed it at the victim while demanding his cell phone and money. The victim gave the suspects multiple cell phones, a laptop computer and money. The suspects then ran down Hilltop Lane toward Tyler Avenue. The victim reported the robbery the next morning.
Finally, around noon Saturday, two boys reported they were approached by three unknown men. One of the men had a handgun and demanded the victims' property. The victims turned over their cell phones and the three robbers left the area. The victims reported the robbery to police four hours later.
