LEXINGTON PARK, Md. (WMAR) -  

A man who is wanted for an Annapolis murder has been spotted in St. Mary's County. 
 
On January 14, a citizen saw a man matching the description of Clarence Eugene Johnson III, who is wanted by the Annapolis Police Department for murder and attempted murder in a townhouse, in the area of River Bay Townhomes in Lexington Park. 
 
Police surrounded the area around the residence where Johnson was spotted and a search warrant was executed. 
 
Johnson was not located inside the townhome. Police believe he may still be in the area of Lexington Park and should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.
