PHOENIX - The judge overseeing the Jodi Arias case has postponed Monday's pretrial hearing to October.
Instead of Monday, Judge Sherry Stephens may rule on pending motions and set a penalty phase retrial date at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 4.
Arias was convicted of first-degree murder on May 8 in the 2008 death of boyfriend Travis Alexander in his Mesa home.
But the jury failed to reach a decision on whether she should get the death penalty, setting the stage for a second penalty phase.
Arias' attorneys have filed numerous motions within the last several weeks, including the disclosure of Twitter information of all upcoming jurors, limiting live television coverage of the trial and changing the location of the retrial.
