BALTIMORE -
With temperatures rising outside here are five things you can do, in the Baltimore area,  to beat the heat and stay cool.

See a summer blockbuster in 3D or IMAX at your local movie theater.

You could visit AMC Loews White Marsh 16, Columbia 14 theaters or your closest theater.

Or you could trade in a blockbuster for an IMAX show at the Maryland Science Center IMAX Theater . Get more information at http://www.mdsci.org/

Enjoy a day of  Monster Mini-Golf indoors.
They're not real monsters, but it sure beats being outside on a hot golf course.
They are located at 7351 Assateague Dr., Suite 380 - Jessup, MD. Click here for more information: monsterminigolf.com/.

Visit a place where legends live on.
Check out exhibits on Babe Ruth and other Baltimore sports teams at the Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards .  It's located at 301 W. Camden Street Baltimore, MD.

Go skating or bowling.
Try out some indoor skating and bowling at the Shake and Bake Family Fun Center
It's located at 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Baltimore, MD.

Check out The Walters Art Museum .
The Walters Art Museum's latest exhibition was collectively created by the public. Its theme is "Creatures." Check it out at  600 N. Charles St.  Baltimore , MD.
